Established in 1997, Prince Wine Store is a top-flight, boutique wine retailer, with three brick-and-mortar outlets in St Kilda, South Melbourne and Essendon and an eStore. They offer an eclectic mix of affordable and benchmark wines; knowledgeable service and competitive pricing. PWS has a large database reached with newsletters and offer comprehensive learning modules, including wine information, events and the respected Wine Spirit Education Trust courses.
Prince Wine Store was managing disparate customer databases, which provided limited capabilities for targeted marketing campaigns. Order management was predominantly a manual process, and customers were unable to view or purchase products via Prince Wine Store’s website.
Prince Wine Store engaged Qdos Technology to provide a comprehensive B2C cloud solution, consisting of five components:
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
All customer information is now integrated into a single, shared database repository providing staff at all sites real-time access to client details and ‘profiling’ capability to individualise marketing campaigns.
Product Catalogue Management
Staff can view product availability in real-time, and create orders quickly. The product catalogue is maintained and utilised for web, retail store and showroom channels.
Online and Retail eCommerce Website
Clients can now access Prince Wine Store’s website and purchase products by adding them to a secure shopping cart, viewing order confirmation and shipping details, and making payments securely on-line.
Point of Sale
The QPOS Touch Screen solution was installed in Prince Wine Store’s retail outlets, which is connected in real-time with Qdos CRM and Qdos Order Management & Fulfilment. Due to the intuitive touch screen technology, transactions are processed very quickly. The system enables staff to work offline when required, synchronising once online.
Online and Retail eCommerce Websites
Qdos provided a hosted, fully featured website with eCommerce capabilities, integrated with PWS product catalogues and dynamic CMS for simple web content management. It offers a 24/7 sales channel with integrated processes, payment gateway and customised design.
