Due to the flexibility of Qdos APIs and functionalities, there exists the potential to exert substantial and unforeseen stress on Qdos cloud infrastructure. We have therefore set out some guidelines around fair and reasonable use.

We won’t generally enforce these strictly, but are in place to ensure Qdos services are not affected for all customers.

What are the limitations and considerations?

Qdos retains the right to reasonably adjust aspects of the environment, including application and processing settings, specifically:

• Qdos might impose limits on processing frequency, volume and size.
• Queueing of both manual and scheduled processes may occur to distribute load.
• The enforcement of query timeouts is possible, with possible changes to these timeouts without prior notice.
• Total parallel queries across all your users may be subject to throttling.
• Additional resource limitations could be enacted without advance notification.

Certain features not bound by licensing, such as APIs or External Links, are subject to this Fair Use Policy and reasonable usage of Qdos services. In specific scenarios where utilisation of these features greatly exceeds the API limits set out above and or the limits of Qdos infrastructure, Qdos retains the right to levy charges for excess usage.
